MacBook Pro: MiniLED display and more
Vendor Global Lighting Technologies is reportedly preparing to start shipments of mini LED panel components for the next generation of MacBook Pro, arriving in the third quarter of this year.
According to a report released by DigiTimes, industry sources close to the matter, the supplier of the Cupertino-based giant will begin shipping components for the MiniLED screen for the new MacBook Pro in the third quarter of this year. These displays are expected to ship in two sizes: a 14-inch and a 16-inch, intended for high-end MacBooks.

However, this isn’t the company’s first product to feature this display, as the company unveiled the new iPad Pro sporting the aforementioned Mini LED panel. Additionally, MacBooks will launch with an improved version of the M1 chipset. These notebooks are expected to feature a flatter top and bottom, with additional ports like HDMI, SD card slot, and even a MagSafe magnetic power cable. Nevertheless, they should present a completely renewed design, proposed in different colors as we have seen for the new 24 ″ iMacs.
