Blade 14 is Razer’s first AMD-based gaming laptop in the Blade Series

With the launch of the Razer Blade 14, Razer has made a historic shift in its gaming laptop lineup. What the company calls the world’s most powerful 14-inch gaming laptop is also the company’s first laptop with an AMD Ryzen processor.

The Razer Blade 14 is the company’s first deviation from its regular Intel processors, and it was announced during Razer’s keynote at E3 2021. Razer Blade 14 uses Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs in addition to AMD’s latest Ryzen 5000 series CPU.

According to Razer, it has “maxed out all aspects of the Razer Blade 14” to provide “the ultimate AMD gaming laptop.” As a result, the first-of-its-kind processor on a Razer laptop is getting a lot of attention. Here’s a breakdown of what this means for gamers.
