Poco Pop Buds: what do we know about the new TWS headphones?

A year ago, POCO India crowdfunded a name for its first True Wireless Stereo earphones. However, the brand has yet to introduce such a product. Thankfully, these headphones could finally launch in the next few days as soon as they appear on the Bluetooth SIG website.

It has been confirmed that POCO India’s first TWS earphones will be called POCO Pop Buds. A couple of TWSs with this branding has now been certified by Bluetooth SIG (the news was first spotted by Twitter user @i_hsay).

Unsurprisingly, these earphones will be a rebranded Redmi product. According to the list, the recently launched Redmi AirDots 3 Pro with model number TWSEJ01ZM will make their way into some regions under the moniker POCO Pop Buds and Redmi Buds 3 Pro.

Hence, New Buds should have the exact same set of specs as the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro. Additionally, they may come in exclusive colors such as “ POCO Yellow “.

Speaking of specs, we can expect features like a 9mm driver, Bluetooth 5.2, 35dB active noise cancellation (ANC), 69ms low latency, gesture controls, multi-device connection, IPX4 splash resistance, Qi wireless charging, and a battery capacity of allowing autonomy of 28 hours.

Unfortunately, there are no official words from either POCO or Redmi regarding the future Pop Buds / Redmi Buds 3 Pro. However, we believe that the POCO wearable can become official together with the POCO F3 GT in the coming weeks; stay connected with us to find out more about it.
