In these hours, the first images relating to the new Huawei Watch 3/3 Pro smartwatch have leaked, which provides us with a first look at its design.
The Chinese manufacturer Huawei is preparing to unveil its new smartwatches in a few days. To date, several images related to the future Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro have emerged. However, we cannot ascertain the authenticity of the leaked photos for now. Although the source is no longer available, Gizchina’s colleagues have saved screenshots of the device. It appears that the leak is coming from an Asian offline store.
Huawei Watch 3/3 Pro: are the photos true?
Huawei announced on May 25 that it would hold a launch conference on the new products on June 2. At this event, the Chinese OEM announced that it will present the new HarmonyOS operating system for smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and other devices.
From the reports that have emerged so far, we know that the Huawei Watch 3 / Watch 3 Pro will support blood pressure monitoring, ECG, eSim cards, etc. Additionally, these smartwatches will come with HarmonyOS and will support “stand-alone” calls. From the images, we can see the writing “ Powered by HarmonyOS ” on the watch box. This further confirms that this watch will work with the brand’s new platform. The images also reveal that the smartwatch will use a round dial, a leather strap, and will support wireless charging.
The development of the Huawei Watch 3 series has been underway for some time. Ahead of the official launch of these devices, they have received some relevant certifications (NBTC, Indonesia Telecom, and CEE of Russia). From the NBTC certification, we know that the model number of this device is GLL-AL04. Also, the NBTC listing shows that this terminal will support eSIM connectivity. Unfortunately, like other NBTC lists, the amount of information it reveals is limited.
Russia’s CEE database and Indonesia Telecom certification show that these devices are coming very soon. In addition to Watch 3, Huawei Watch 3 Pro also appeared on the NBTC website.
However, we don’t know if the Chinese company will unveil both devices at the June 2 conference. What we do know is that both the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro will arrive later this year. The Pro model comes with model number GLL-AL04. Unfortunately, there is no official information on the possible launch date of this particular iteration.
