According to an exclusive report from Gizmochina, it appears that Samsung’s first foldable with three screens will be called the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Tab.

According to what is learned from a recent rumor that appeared on Gizmochina, it seems that Samsung’s Tri-Fold tablet could be launched as the “ Galaxy Z Fold Tab” in the first quarter of 2022.

Samsung Galaxy Fold Tab: It will be one of a kind

The South Korean OEM leads the foldable phone industry with its Galaxy Z series. Currently, the company sells two types of models and both have a single hinge. However, in the past, there have been reports of a Galaxy device with three panels and therefore, two hinges. According to the source of Gizmochina, such a terminal is actually under development and it seems that it can be presented as early as next year.

GizmoChina teamed up with tipster Yogesh to bring new information about the upcoming foldable Samsung tablet. According to our source, the device will launch as the Galaxy Z Fold Tab during the first quarter of next year.

Previous leaks about this product have suggested that it will be released in 2021. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case. However, we may or may not see a teaser at the launch event for the new Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, which may take place in early August. This is still under discussion within Samsung’s marketing team.

Also, the highlight of the Galaxy Z Fold Tab, in addition to its triple folding ability, will be the support for the hybrid S Pen. This stylus will make its debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold3 in a few months. Unfortunately, we don’t have any information on this Bluetooth-enabled stylus; we just know it will be different from the old S Pen.

This new thickened reinforced glass will be introduced in the successor already with the heir of the Galaxy Z Fold2. Essentially, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be a testbed for Samsung’s first foldable tablet.
