According to what is learned from a post that emerged on Weibo, it seems that Lenovo is about to launch a premium tablet with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC.
Last year, Lenovo launched a single flagship Android tablet called the Tab P11 Pro. This product is also sold as the Xiaoxin Pad Pro in China. A few months after its release, the company is now spoiling the arrival of another high-end Android device, whose technical specifications have only been disclosed in the past few hours.
Lenovo: a new premium tablet for smart working and DAD
Today, Lin Lin, Lenovo Notebook Product Manager, posted a screenshot of the “ Settings ” page of an upcoming Lenovo tablet. The image reveals some of the key features of this product.

According to the photo posted on the Weibo social network, the Lenovo tablet yet to be released will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. This chipset will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We can also expect other configurations related to different RAM banks or more capacious storage.
As for the software, the tablet will run the ZUI 12.5 skin based on Android 11. It will also have support for “ Lenovo One “, an interface similar to that of Huawei Multi-Screen Collaboration and Xiaomi Device Control.
Unfortunately, nothing else is known about this tablet, including its launch date. As the screenshot shows that the security patch level is January 2021, it is possible that the product is still in the last phase of testing.
That said, this new product may be a better option for users than the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro aka Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro. Because although the latter has some great features like the 2K OLED HDR display with Dolby Vision and quad speakers from JBL, comes with a mid-range processor, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G.
Given the high demand for tablets and PCs due to smart working and DAD, it was reasonable to expect that many manufacturers would invest substantial finances and resources in this interesting sector.
