In these hours, new details have just emerged relating to the entry-level of Xiaomi’s Mi 11 range: the Mi 11 Lite seems to be around the corner.

The latest rumors relating to the entry-level of the Mi 11 range are clear: the new device could be equipped with a periscope lens and an unprecedented Qualcomm chipset called “ SM7350 “. Well yes: the Chinese giant seems to be preparing to launch several variants of the flagship announced in December last year. In fact, the Mi 11 Pro and the Mi 11 Lite will arrive in February, together with the MIUI 12.5 release for many devices of the brand.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite: affordable but packed with exclusive features

Recall that Xiaomi released the Mi 11 flagship in the last days of 2020 and the latest leaks indicate that two other phones will soon join the family: Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Pro. The former should be slightly less powerful and cheaper. Today, a well-known Chinese leakster just revealed some of its flagship specs.

According to the source, the Mi 11 Lite will have an OLED screen with a hole for a selfie camera in the upper left corner, a Qualcomm SM7350 processor, a 64MP main cam, and a 5X telephoto sensor.

Each of these features looks very interesting: first of all, there is no SM7350 platform yet. Several users speculate that it may be the brand new Snapdragon 755G, an SoC based on 5nm process technology and it seems that its CPU will have a powerful Cortex-A78 core.

The main cam 64 MP will be unfortunately a downgrade compared to the 108-megapixel main snapper from the I 11, but this time there seems to be a periscope sensor to keep him company. The elegant telephoto lens is a rather expensive component, but Xiaomi seems to have made a conventional telephoto lens with 5X zoom like that of the Mi Note 10.

We will see how this situation will evolve once Xiaomi announces the device. Meanwhile, we know that a super-premium variant will also arrive on the market: the Mi 11 Ultra (or Pro Plus, if you prefer).
