According to a recently leaked patent, it looks like Samsung wants to revive the slider-phone design for its future Galaxy A82.
Samsung has just filed with the Patent and Trademark Office a document describing a new smartphone, whose top panel can move on an axis in two directions. That’s right: this is the patent of a new slider-phone and, it seems, this could be the design of the future Galaxy A82.

In fact, according to the patent, when folded, the device looks like a normal smartphone, but if you move the top panel down, users will have access to the front camera. If you slide the screen up, you will find a large AKG speaker.

Using the images from the patent, designer Sarang Sheth collaborated with the LetsGoDigital portal to create a series of realistic 3D renderings of the device which, it turns out, looks like it could hit the market as under the Samsung Galaxy A82 moniker.

Recall that the Samsung Galaxy A80 was presented in 2019 and enjoyed a unique structure with a rotating photographic module, capable of working both as the main camera and as a selfie cam.
