The Samsung Galaxy A72 is expected to be the new model of the Galaxy A line and arrive within a few weeks. In the meantime, here’s a look at the probable design and dimensions of the smartphone, information leaked through some images relating to the probable causes.
What will the Galaxy A72 look like?
As you can see from the image below, what immediately catches the eye is the large block dedicated to the photographic module, where five holes are positioned, one of which should be reserved for the LED flash.
The volume rocker and power button are located on the side adjacent to the camera, while the other side has no buttons.
The bottom panel houses a speaker grille, a USB-C connector, a microphone hole, and a 3.5mm headphone jack – a much-appreciated connector that’s not often found in the latest generation of smartphones.
From the rumors that have emerged to date, we know that the Samsung Galaxy A72 should have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720 chipset onboard, associated with 6/8 GB of RAM. The device’s main camera sensor should have a resolution of 64 MP, while the screen could measure a whopping 6.7 inches.
In addition, the smartphone – whose official announcement is scheduled for the end of January – has recently obtained the Indian BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification: marked with the model number SM-A725F / DS, based on previous rumors, this should be the 4G variant, as the version with 5G connectivity carries the model number SM-A726B.
The two models should be identical, apart from network support and processing power: both the Galaxy A72 4G and the Galaxy A72 5G will, in fact, feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a Quad configuration. -Camera with a 64MP main lens, ultra-wide 12MP, and two 5MP sensors.
