Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra can be launched with S Pen support

The S Pen is one of the most attractive features of Samsung’s Note series phones, and we have never seen it in the company’s S series phones. But it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is set to hit the market with support for the S Pen.

In 2011, the first phone in the Note series was unveiled. The product was supposed to act as a digital notebook with a large pen and display support. Since then, Samsung has been able to make them one of the most popular flagships in the world by enhancing the stylus capabilities as well as the handsets themselves.

But in the company’s flagship series, we also see the presence of the S family. Products that are considered to be the main flagships of the Korean giant but do not support the pen. The stylus has been one of the biggest differences between the two Samsung flagships for almost nine years, but it looks like the company intends to make a historic break with the launch of the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

According to the latest renderings of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, it seems that this phone supports the S Pen. Of course, this does not mean that pen support is limited to this phone. However, according to the famous revealer, Ice Universe, it is certain that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will support the S Pen.

But as it turns out, there is no S Pen inside the phone. It is even said that the charger is not going to come with Samsung’s new phones, which is somewhat strange considering the sarcastic advertisements addressed to Apple because of this issue. So if the charger is not supposed to be in the box, it would be unexpected to see a pen in it.

However, stylus support means users can purchase it as an accessory for their phones. Similar to what some tablet owners do. But the problem is that even if the pen is purchased, there is no empty slot inside the phone to embed it. Therefore, we should expect the company to design special protective cases to hold the pen with the phone.

In the meantime, the question that arises is the type of pen. We do not know if Samsung is considering the same stylus for the Galaxy S21 Ultra as it is used for the Note 20 series, or if it is considering a different version. We will have to wait until the coming weeks to find out, but in general, this news seems to be true.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra can be launched with S Pen support

There is a lot of news about the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the most important of which is the support for 2K resolution display and 120Hz refresh rate, which is said to use LTPO technology. That is, by automatically adjusting the page refresh rate according to the desired content, it prevents high energy consumption.

Also, this phone is supposed to be the first Samsung phone that has the same edges on all four sides of the screen. This is almost the first Android smartphone to hit the market with such a design. On the back panel of this product, we will see the presence of a 108-megapixel camera, which is said to be the third generation of the isocell sensor (HM3), and it has up to 12% better light absorption than the first generation sensor used in the S20 Ultra.

In addition, the power supply of this phone is a 5000 mAh battery (probably) that supports a 45-watt fast charger. However, we do not seem to see a charger inside the box. Snapdragon 875 / Exynos 2100 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of internal memory are other features of this product.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be unveiled during the Unpacked event on January 14th. It also seems that 15 days later, on January 29, we will see its official release to the market.
