Every year, Oppo holds an event to showcase its new technologies. The company announced a few days ago that it will unveil an augmented reality glasses tomorrow (November 17), and now Oppo has released a poster for the roll-up phone.
The company posted a post on Weibo and Twitter that read: “Big screen? Small screen? Infinite display? “In the future, your smartphone can probably be folded up easily.” Also in this poster, we see a curved display that has been partially stretched due to the upper edge. In this poster, the phrase “the beginning of a new era of the screen” attracts attention.

Oppo did not provide any other information, but according to the published poster, we are facing a concept phone or so-called concept phone, which is supposed to show the technical capabilities of companies to competitors. TCL also unveiled the roll-up phone months before the model, and LG is said to be introducing a roll-up phone soon. But can Oppo launch such products sooner than LG? We can not comment on this yet.
We hope that Oppo will not unveil a replica like TCL and that a real rolling phone will be on display to see what mechanism the company has used for this feature. Given that most recently in conjunction with Samsung’s efforts to enter the field of early roll phones as news releases, it appears that in the near future we will be introducing a number of phone-based capabilities.
