According to what is learned on the net in these hours, it seems that OnePlus is already working on the heir of the current premium midrange, (OnePlus Nord 2) OP Nord 5G.
The second-generation OnePlus Nord seems to be already on its way (won’t it be a bit soon?). According to reports online, it seems that his code name is already ticked: Denniz . But what do we know about this new, unprecedented device?
OnePlus Nord 2: “Oh, DenniZ boy …”
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Pete Lau’s Chinese company was working on a new fourth budget smartphone (yet another one). We are talking about the heir to the company’s first premium midrange, OnePlus Nord SE. But apparently, the “Never Settle” brand also has a fifth model in the works. Let’s admit we’re losing count too …
The tipster Max Jambor often publishes very cryptic tweets, complete with code names of the devices and related technical characteristics. Even today the leaker makes no exceptions and publishes a new post on Twitter that bears the name of a future smartphone of the Chinese giant: Denniz .

Jambor hasn’t officially announced which phone is linked to the surfaced codename. However, during a chat with colleagues from the PhoneArena portal, he specified that “Denniz” is actually the name that the employees of OnePlus have chosen for the second generation of Nord.
Yes, you got it right. The second generation of a device released just under five months ago. We do not know what its complete technical characteristics maybe, but let’s imagine a new generation chipset belonging to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 700 series, a camera similar to that of the newborn OnePlus 8T, a 120 Hz fluid SuperAMOLED display.
Nord 2 should arrive early next year, effectively replacing the current OnePlus Nord 5G. As for the prices, it should have a cost between that of OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Nord SE. Let’s make a brief recap of the devices released on the market in this particular 2020:
- OP 8 Pro;
- OP 8;
- OP 8T;
- OP North;
- OP Nord N10 5G;
- OP Nord N100.
