Huawei Nova 8 SE official, With Quad Rear Cameras

Huawei has just unveiled the brand new Nova 8 SE, a device sold in China in two different variants due to the SoC used.

In April, Huawei announced the smartphone Nova SE 7 as the entry-level line-up Nova 7. Today, however, the Chinese manufacturer has lifted the veil to the new Nova 8 SE through a launch almost unnoticed on Asian soil, China. The new phone arrived in two different variants, different due to the chipset adopted on both. We also note that, while the previous model sported an LCD panel with a selfie cam embedded in a hole, the Nova 8 SE boasts an OLED unit with a very “2019-style” teardrop notch. It also comes with four 64-megapixel cameras each and comes with the same fast charging technology found on the Mate 40 models.

Huawei Nova 8 SE: here are the technical specifications

Huawei Nova 8 SE has a 6.53-inch 20: 9 format display. The OLED screen produces a Full HD + resolution and, inside, has a fingerprint reader. The device is also equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera, while the rear enjoys a square-shaped camera module with four lenses inside. The main one is a 64 Megapixel all-rounder with f / 1.9 aperture, the second one is an ultra-wide 8 Mpx with f / 2.4 aperture. We then mention the two smaller optics, both 2 Mpx: the first is for macro shots, the second for shots with active bokeh.

Huawei Nova 8 SE (Standard Edition) is powered by Dimensity 720 chipset and offers support for 5G + 4G dual SIM connectivity. On the other hand, Nova 8 SE (High Edition) is driven by the Density 800U chip and features 5G + 5G dual SIM connectivity. Beyond the different chipsets, the Standard and High versions of the Nova 8 SE have the same specifications.

Nova 8 SE comes with an Android 10 OS and GMS-free EMUI 10.1 user interface. Together with this, we mention the 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and the 128 GB for UFS 2.1 memories. The battery, on the other hand, is a 3800 mAh unit with 66W fast charge support.

The Nova 8 SE was presented in China with a price of 2,599 Yuan ( about $ 391 ) for the variant with SoC Density 720. The model with CPU Dimensity 800U, on the other hand, is priced at 2,699 yuan ( about $ 406 ). It is available in the following colors: Magic Night Black, Dark Blue, Silver Moon Start, and Sakura Snow Clear Sky.
