The Huawei FreeLace Pro is the new wireless headphones (non-TWS) of the Chinese manufacturer, designed to provide long autonomy, double noise cancellation, and many exclusive features.
Huawei FreeLace Pro: a great wireless solution
The wireless Pro variant of the FreeLaces is the new iteration of Huawei’s semi-wired earphones; although they do not need the aid of the 3.5 mm jack cable, the wires are present to connect one driver with the other, following the typical trend of headphones a few years ago (before the advent of Apple’s AirPods, so to speak).
From the latest rumors leaked on Weibo, there is an updated battery capable of providing more than 24 hours of use and improved noise cancellation; from the Chinese microblogging portal, we also discover what will be the sales packages of the product.
Among the main technical specifications that we report, we highlight the double noise cancellation, a connection via USB type C for recharging, and over 24 hours of battery life that is updated compared to the 18 hours seen with the previous version.
The FreeLace Pro also enjoys physical in-line controls, including multimedia, call, power, and connection buttons. The earphones feature the two microphones which, together, enhance the noise cancellation of the surrounding environment. The drivers also support a 14.2mm voice coil which increases energy efficiency and sound quality itself.
It is assumed that the final price of the Huawei FreeLace Pro starts from 799 yuan (about 115 $); in the meantime, a launch date for the new headphones has not been announced, but internal rumors suggest that the company could announce them together with the new Huawei MateBook X PC on August 19, or the day after tomorrow.
