Xiaomi inaugurates the new family of high-end smart televisions called ” Master Series “; the first model is based on a 4K HDR OLED panel. The new specimens are compatible with HDR and 98% of the DCI-P3 color sample and with 120 Hz refresh rates. The average price? 13,000 yuan, aka € 1600.

With the new Master Series, however, the company wants to further raise the bar, reconfirming once again its policy of ” top product at a small price”. In fact, the new televisions have everything you could want from a premium device with very high costs but at a paltry price.

Let’s start from the plate, signed by LG, to the OLED backlight and not only. 4K resolution, compatible with all HDR standards, Dolby Atmos-certified audio with 65 Watts of sound power. Under the body, we find an MT9686 processor, which is a MediaTek quad-core Cortex A73, accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. At the rear, we find 3 HDMI ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet, and an optical audio output.

The operating system is called ” MIUI for TV “, it has a multimedia player and an app store; the TV is compatible with Wi-Fi ac dual-band and Bluetooth 5.0. The “Master Series” is sold in China for 12,999 yuan (aka 1640 euros). Competitors bring similar products to the market at a much higher price.
