We are finally here: the new OPPO Watch will officially arrive all over the world (also in Italy, of course) starting from the autumn; together with the wearable, the new affordable wireless earbuds, the Enco W11, will also enjoy worldwide distribution.

OPPO Watch with WearOS for global markets

The Chinese company, within the hymn day of last year, claimed to have big plans for 2020, particularly in the wearable segment; in fact, the promise and expectations seem to be keeping them.

After launching the very first smartwatch exclusively in China together with the Find X2 series, OPPO is bringing to the market a Wear OS version of its device, intended for international markets.

The Chinese variant, on the other hand, was supplied with proprietary Android-based software, but in the western areas, the system rate would have risked not being appreciated properly. The Global model will enjoy services such as Google Fit, Pay, and Assistant, as well as having access to numerous additional apps thanks to the Play Store.

Under the shell we find Qualcomm’s Wear 3100 chip with an Ambiq Micro Apollo3 co-processor to improve energy efficiency. GPS is integrated and the only option available for purchase includes 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.

There are two versions available for purchase, with different dimensions for the speakers; on the one hand, we find the 41 mm model with BT 4.2, BLE, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The AMOLED display is 1.6 inches with 320 x 360 pixels resolution and 301 PPI. Finally, with the 300 mAh battery, you can cover the 24H without problems.

The 46mm case variant has LTE for a pure stand-alone experience, a 402 x 476-pixel AMOLED curved display on a 1.9-inch panel. The frame is in aluminum alloy on both versions, but the one with the larger case also enjoys the ceramic. Autonomy is 30 hours in smart mode, thanks to the 430 mAh battery. With OPPO VOOC flash charging, you can fully charge both devices in just 75 minutes. On the prices we still have to wait for the official ones, however, we know that OPPO Watch 46 mm in the UK will cost £ 369, while the variant 41 mm, £ 299; bizarre thing, there are no plans for release in the US
