In these hours new information has emerged relating to the future TalkBand B6 of the Chinese manufacturer Huawei. According to what is published on the Chinese microblogging portal Weibo, it seems that the new iteration of the fitness tracker of the TalkBand range is coming soon.
Huawei TalkBand B6: versatile in any context
Huawei unveiled the TalkBand 5 in 2018 two years ago. Now the first official images representing the new edition are popping up, together with the official technical specifications. These include the 1.53-inch curved AMOLED display with AG glass (larger than the predecessor), Hall sensor, proprietary HiSilicon Kirin A1 chipset with support for Bluetooth 5.1
The body is made of metal while, according to what emerges from the images that emerged online, the strap seems to be in silicone, “as usual”. Among the features that the smart band will have we offer support for the voice assistant, remote control of the camera, step and calorie counting, distance measurement, and Firstbeat professional sports orientation.
As with other models in the TalkBand range, the smart accessory also acts as a pop-up Bluetooth headset, capable of emitting a full-bodied sound thanks to the presence of multiple microphones onboard. Inevitable for the series, caller ID support, the silencer for incoming calls, and the option for speed dialing to one of your favorite contacts.
A piece of big news concerns the introduction of the USB Type-C port to recharge the band comfortably on the road as well as at home, taking advantage of speed higher than the standard offered by the “old” micro-USB.
Huawei TalkBand B6 from Huawei is available both in the Sports Edition version with a black (or red) rubber strap and in the Business Edition with Champagne Gold case and metal strap. An official announcement is expected from the company for the month of August, probably along with numerous other devices ( Mate 40 range included?).
