Although it is not completely unknown, we know that Samsung is planning the launch of the new Galaxy Fold for 2020 with several improvements, but perhaps not all that the rumors were betting.
According to information from the Korean website Naver, industry sources said the Galaxy Fold 2 would hit the market later this year with a larger external screen, but without specifying details about such a feature, as well as a lower weight (about 229g versus 263g ), and the new color options Martian Green (green) and Astro Blue (blue).

We don’t know whether Samsung should keep much of the shape of the first Galaxy Fold in its successor or whether the company plans to create a completely new design but still based on vertical folding. It is very likely that Fold 2 will continue with the idea of having a smartphone that becomes a tablet, but we still don’t know much due to so much mismatched information.
Some rumors bet that the new Fold arrives with Snapdragon 865 processor, 120 Hz screen (possibly only the internal screen), in addition to offering a more “accessible” version and to be announced sometime in August alongside the Galaxy Note 20.
With approximately four months to go before the probable launch of the new devices, it is very likely that from now on we will have more and more certain rumors that reinforce the previous information and guide what we can expect for Samsung flagships.
